Ian Ritchie will lecture at Leeds University Civil Engineering School on 6 December at the School of Civil Engineering (Lecture Theatre A). The lecture will focus on the innovative work of the practice. Students from Leeds Art School, Leeds Metropolitan University as well as students on civil engineering and architectural engineering courses are being invited together with professional practitioners of building disciplines.
Ian Ritchie has accepted to sit on the jury for the 2 stage Architectural Competition to revamp the old Airport Terminal Building and adjacent office block in Brussels. The competition was launched in Zaventem on 19 September 2001 and is being run by the BIAC (Brussels International Airport Company).
Application deadline for competition information is 16th November 2001.

Ian Ritchie Architects have decided to expand their office accommodation in Limehouse. The project, designed in-house will be completed before the end of 2002.
La Direction de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, DAPA, has received formal support from the Maire de Paris for up to 5 housing projects within Paris; and Senart Ville Nouvelle, south of Paris, has also confirmed up to 4 sites.
