IABA 2025

At the invitation of Prof. Dr. C. Abdi Güzer, chair of the biennial, and Hazal Türkyılmaz, president of the Chamber of Architects Antalya, Ian Ritchie will give a speech at the opening of the fifth International Architecture Biennial of Antalya (IABA) on November 3rd.

IABA, Turkey’s first and only international architecture biennial, began in 2011 as a critical platform for discourse on architecture and urbanism with the theme Intersections, followed by Template (2013), Thinking the Future (2015), and Continuity (2017).

Events will take place 3–9 November 2025, with the theme: IN-BETWEEN – Architecture and the City in the New World Order held simultaneously at two main venues, the Battery Factory Complex and Mimar Sinan Congress Center.
